After a very interesting, intriguing and enlightening short visit with our guests, the film crew departed and headed North to nearby Cross Plains to continue their important and creative works. The monthly Cemetery Association Board and Staff Meeting followed afterwards at Greenleaf.

We remember and honor the 18,000 plus souls who are laid to rest at Brownwood’s Historic Greenleaf Cemetery. Many of these folks built the downtown buildings, streets, & alleyways we enjoy today. Many small business owners who came before, as well as their dedicated customers who made their business’ successful, are also laid to rest at Greenleaf. Since 2017, we and many others, have helped honor those who came before with illumination during the holiday season. As you journey throughout Brownwood on your self guided weekend Christmas light tour, don’t forget to include Brownwood’s Historic Greenleaf Cemetery.
